Fuzzy Ant - Camponotus chromaiodes

Size: an inch long
It looks like a hybrid ant and bee. We have both carpenter ants and bees (and wasps) outside.

Camponotus chromaiodes - medium worker
Golden hair on gaster are also present in the close - all black - relative C. pennsylvanicus.
