Possible Finnish Dart (Actebia fennica) - Actebia fennica - male

Possible Finnish Dart (Actebia fennica) - Actebia fennica - Male
Whitefish Point, Chippewa County, Michigan, USA
September 5, 2020
I had tentatively ID'd this as the Tessellate Dart, but more consideration makes that unlikely. The pale orange streak along the inner margin was pointed out to me by "mamestraconfigurata" on iNaturalist, along with the light collar, the two black streaks anterior to the ST line, the narrow black claviform, and the reddish brown in the orbicular and reniform spots. All of these suggest Finnish Dart (Actebia fennica). The illustration in Beadle & Leckie did not catch my eye, but photos here and at Moth Photographers Group are more supportive. The moth was quite active, so I couldn't get a measurement. It came to lights. We have a lot of wild blueberry here, which is listed as a food plant.
