Weevil - Polydrusus formosus

Weevil - Polydrusus formosus
Springfield, Calhoun County, Michigan, USA
June 7, 2008
I believe this is a Polydrusus sericeus. What do you think? Can you tell if it is male or female? It was found on the leaves of my roses.

ID is correct
because the elytra are well dilated to the rear, I guess it´s female.

I Looked Through
BugGuide to ID this weevil. I was hesitant though because sometimes others can look similiar. Thanks for confirming, Boris.
