Stichopogon trifasciatus (Say 1823)
trifasciatus = 'three-banded' (refers to the color on the abdomen)

~10-15 mm
Identification
body slender and relatively hairless; thorax and legs light bluish-gray; abdomen with 3 bands of alternating light and dark color (a distinguishing feature among congeners)
Range
so. Canada (transcontinental) to Venezuela(1)
Habitat
usually bare, sandy or gravely areas near water(2)
Food
mostly spiders(2), plus flies and other insects
