Sphex flavovestitus? - Sphex flavovestitus - male

Sphex flavovestitus? - Sphex flavovestitus - Male
Sandy Hollow, Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana, USA
September 7, 2020
To my eye, this looks a lot like Sphex flavovestitus, even though the photos of the dorsal side of the thorax are not sharp. I hope it's enough for the experts to sort out.

Moved
Moved from Sphex. Shouldn't be S. nudus given the more golden pubescence including the lateral markings on the mesoscutum.

Moved
Moved from ID Request.

Male - I think that Sphex nudus is more likely.

Thanks.
Thanks, Bob.
