Small bee -
Ceratina strenua

Very small bee. I'm guessing some kind of sweat bee. It looks similar to one of the pictures labeled genus Lasioglossum in the guide. Of course, I really don't know what I'm looking for so I could be completely wrong.

Small Carpenter Bee?
The color of the bee and the white mark on the face actually remind me of a small carpenter bee, genus
Ceratina
. I could be wrong, though.

Yes, Ceratina.
Thank you, Richard, for the quick ID. Good thing we got a "face" shot, as I was just about ready to label this as a Lasioglossum (family Halictidae), with which they can be very easily confused.
