cropped from a larger photo which has a wasp as the main subject, was going to name the fly too and put it also in iNaturalist. Figure flesh fly is as far as I can go but never hurts to check. Only got one shot cause did not know the fly was there at the time. photo bomber. Can you tell gender?

Yes, flesh flies are impossib
Yes, flesh flies are impossible to id beyond family from photos.
This one looks like a female, since the eye margins aren’t touching, but the only way to know with certainty is the presence/absence of an ovipositor.

Pretty much what I figured but wanted to get confirmation. Totally frass kind of shot, lol
