This is more likely given the elevated, conical scutellum (most notable in the second photo). This is generally low and rounded in true
T. pennator
. Definitive separation relies on some details in microscopy that aren't visible. I've updated the species page of
T. pennator
with these traits, as well as to the new
T. vulpinus
page.
