Cryptocephalus? mating - Babia quadriguttata - Male Female
Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee, USA
June 9, 2008
Size: 5 ~ 6 mm
Antennae seem shorter than the ones in the guide.

Excellent photo!
Excellent photo!

Thanks,
I discarded a lot before I got this one. Shiny black and spot metering can be a pain.

Babia quadriguttata
this is Babia quadriguttata in the tribe Clytrini (short antenna!!)

I had searched
Babia and couldn't decide. The clubby antennae and the lack of deeper indentions in the elytra should have keyed me. Thanks for the ID.
