Size: 1/2 inch+
Found on grasses beside a pond. I was unable to get a side view. Hopefully someone can offer a suggestion from the attached.

Look at Wagner pg 156
Ectropis crepuscularia. Lots of bulges and marks in the right places.

It stands like a Geometrid
but we looked through Wagner and nothing immediately jumped out at us. Sorry. We'll look some more and see if we find anything.
