Centris bee? - Anthophora californica

Centris bee? - Anthophora californica
Scottsdale, Maricopa County, Arizona, USA
September 22, 2020
Size: 1 centimeter
This bee was very active and very fast, slightly smaller than a Honey Bee. I believe it may be a species of centris bee, but the banded abdomen doesn't seem right. It was collenting pollen in a flower garden, buzzing around Lantana and Bluebell. Thanks.

Probably one of the Digger Bees
