Life Cycle
This is the only antlion group in which all members are build pits obligatorily. The only Myrmeleontidae to do so outside of this tribe are found in the tribes Nesoleontini and Myrmecaelurini, other tribes of Myrmeleontinae which aren't found in our covered area and which don't do so obligatorily.(2)
