Question
I believe I know the species of this moth, but to be sure I'd like to know: Is your area, or an area nearby, a habitat type consisting of a more sandy soil type (as opposed to clay-like) with tracts of either Long-leaf or Short-leaf Pine forest?

RE:Question
Yes to all questions. Shortleaf is the most dominant, with several hundred acres of reforested long leaf. Rx burned on regular basis as well.

Perfect
I was pretty sure this was a
Schinia bimatris
(sometimes called the White Flower Moth), but I wanted to double check the habitat because they're pretty habitat specific. Excellent find, and first one for the guide. I'll move it over to the species page.
