I found this caterpillar awhile ago on my rose bush, I have yet to figure out what it is. Sorry the picture's fuzzy.

I wish I had better pictures so I could see the markings. Can the oak and rose slugs live on several plant species?

If I find another, I think I'll run up to Best Buy and buy a sweet digital camera (although I'm not sure which one would be the best), and take some more pictures for y'all.

Ever since I found out certain caterpillars can sting, I'm always afraid to try and pick anything up...LOL! I saw that slug caterpillar about a year ago (the date on the picture is wrong) and I haven't seen one since. It looks like the moths are fairly large so I'm surprized I haven't seen any of the adults.

I'll keep looking!
