Very tiny beetle on grass in a flooded area. Found a similar beetle on bugguide: Myochrous cyphus-denticollis

any higher-res photos? it does look like Myochrous ...
...but for the size; how was it measured?

 
Size
This is the only photo that I got. I didn't realize it wasn't super sharp in the moment. I have the uncropped version with more of the blade of sedge showing for context but it is the same photo. The size is an estimate. It was so tiny, I didn't see it until I was bending down photographing other animals on the sedge.

unless you have an accurate measurement in mm, the size field is best left blank: estimates are useless for identification purposes; posted without a clear indication that the bug was not actually measured, they tend to hurt your chances for an ID
