Size: 5mm
The larger is 5mm. The smaller is about 4mm. The plant is at the water's edge and may even be rooted underwater.

Weevils.
Curculionidae is the family. There are entire 'tribes,' if not whole subfamilies, of weevils associated with aquatic plants. I'll be interested in a more specific ID, too:-) Very nice image.
