Tiny Moth? - Chalcoela pegasalis

Tiny Moth? - Chalcoela pegasalis
Bullitt County, Kentucky, USA
October 6, 2020
15 of these tiny moths were somehow trapped between our screen and the window pane. Unable to release them because of an aggressive colony of paper wasps.

Moved from ID Request.

The moths may have come from the wasp nest. Check the info page.

Parasitic moth
Strange reversal in roles. Usually it is the wasp parasites the caterpillars. My wife did suggest they may have come from the wasp nest.
