You were correct...
Sternidius mimeticus. I moved these and then the web site froze and I couldn't add a comment until now - sorry for the lag.

The bold dark macula on the side of the elytra that doesn't connect with the black mark on the humerus of the elytra, and the all-black tarsomeres, help ID this variable species.

Many thanks for the information, Robert. I WAS trying to figure out what had happened since all I got was that it was moved to species and the times noted did not add up.
