Erebidae, woven flower wads, Everlasting Bud Moth larvae (or pupae) - Eublemma minima

Erebidae, woven flower wads, Everlasting Bud Moth larvae (or pupae) - Eublemma minima
Red Oak Prairie, Allamakee County, Iowa, USA
October 4, 2020
October 3, 2020: collected woven flower wads on Sweet everlasting, Pseudognaphalium obtusifolium. Since there were 3 of these weavings, I'm not sure why I didn't open one to look for a larva. Perhaps it was because I was distracted by a Goldenrod Flower Moth larva, Schinia nundina, found in the prairie seed collecting bag

October 18, 2020: on or before, 3 moths emerged (yea, they aren't some generalist feeding species)

Batch rearing.
