Tenthredo - Tenthredo maxima - Male Female
near Francis Peak, Morgan County, Utah, USA

Tenthredo maxima is found in Utah and looks like this specimen. However, it has three yellow abdominal segments and this specimen appears to have only 2 which is very similar to Tenthredo maculata. Help with ID appreciated.

Note that T. maculata is a European species (England, Scotland, & Wales) and isn't known from the Americas.
