eupelmid - Anastatus - female

eupelmid - Anastatus - Female
Rockville, Montgomery County, Maryland, USA
October 18, 2020
Size: body 2.3mm
Keys out to Anastatus using Gibson's 1995 key (1) and then, I think, to Anastatus microcentri using Burks' key to the North American species (2). However, the vagueness of the character states on the Burks key and Gary Gibson's comments here don't leave me with much faith in the species ID.

TIA

Making species ID's ...
... is indeed tough, partly because there still are so many undescribed species out there.
