Airora minuta? - Airora minuta
Nogales, Santa Cruz County, Arizona, USA
July 6, 2020
Size: 4 mm
I struggled trying to identify this beetle. It superficially resembles Nematidium (Zopheridae) and Thione (Monotomidae), but both of these genera have a two-segmented antennal club (among other differences). This specimen has a distinctly three-segmented club.
Coordinates: 31.335325, -110.938100
Elevation: 3,932 ft
Attracted to mercury vapor and ultraviolet lights
