Not a known host
I suspect it is P. vitifoliella. In the next few weeks I'll be sending material of Vitaceae-feeding Phyllocnistis off for DNA barcoding, and I'd love to include this one (any additional material from this host, including mines with dead larvae, would be great to have).

Yes
I think there's a good chance there are pupae or dead larvae in these mines, which could be used for barcoding.
