Drone fly.
This is the "drone fly," Eristalis tenax, or a closely-related species in the family Syrphidae (collectively known here as "flower flies," and in Europe as "hover flies"). Superb bee mimics, but I see this one did not fool you:-)

A syrphid, but it appears to have been dressed by a bee fly
