Amherst Microcoryphian - Pedetontus saltator
Amethyst Brook Conservation Area vicinity, Hampshire County, Massachusetts, USA
September 17, 2020
After living here for over 10 years without seeing any of these, I had two observations 8 days apart. So, am guessing that both were the same individual. Definitely not Trigoniophthalmus, based on the lateral ocelli shape; nor Petrobius, based on the inland location and very non-coastal habitat. That leaves only one species which has been documented from MA to date, so am going with that.
