Posterior view of a male C. monstrosa. Intended to show position of styli (paired structures medial to cerci and projecting off subgenital plate) to aid in distinguishing between male C. monstrosa and male C. buckelli when a good lateral view of the subgenital plate is not present. I have also added a lateral view of the above for comparison and to give a better idea of the 3D structure. This specimen is preserved in ethanol in my research collection at MacEwan University in Edmonton, Alberta.
