I found this spider in my apartment about 4 days after I hired an exterminator. It was still partially moving. This is the second one I have found so far. I have lived in this apartment less than one month. I'm hoping to not find anymore!!

Yep
Loxosceles. Your region of Illinois is in brown recluse territory, but note that they're called "recluses" for a reason. Bites from them are extremely rare, even in homes that have large numbers of them.

I think we've got enough recluse photos, but I'll let a more experienced editor make the call on whether to move or frass this image.

The carapace looks consistent with Loxosceles
