Red milkweed beetle larvae - Tetraopes tetrophthalmus

Red milkweed beetle larvae - Tetraopes tetrophthalmus
Center Twp, Jefferson County, Iowa, USA
October 30, 2020
Size: about 1-1.3 cm
While digging common milkweed (Asclepias syriaca) plants out of my perennial beds, my garden helper, Livia, found these larvae. I took photos and collected them for ID. After researching what beetles feed on milkweed roots, I determined it was the red milkweed beetle, since that is the common milkweed beetle found in my yard. I could only find one photo on the internet of this beetle's larvae from Cornell Univ.
One is about 1cm long the other about 1.3cm long.
Does anyone have any suggestions about trying to rear them?

Did you have any luck rearing them or learn anything since then?

No luck
Unfortunately, I did not get anything out of the rearing container. I kept it a second year in case there was a delay in emergence but have not gotten anything. Sorry I could not provide more information.
