Identification
These are reportedly the only Therion species within our range with dark hind tarsi, lacking yellow markings:
T. nigripes: yellow facial markings restricted to a narrow medial stripe and narrow loops along the orbits; hind tibia about equal to femur + trochanter; basal tarsomere shorter than the following tarsomeres combined
T. tenuipes: yellow facial markings extensive; hind tibia longer than femur + trochanter; basal tarsomere longer than the following tarsomeres combined
See Also
Heteropelma datanae may lack markings along the orbits and is readily separated from the species of Therion as the hind basal tarsomere is over 2x the length of the following tarsomeres combined
