Bembidion sp. - Tachys vorax
Loomis, Placer County, California, USA

Size: 2.7 mm
Posted because it is one that came from the same samples I gave to Peter Messer but I could not match to his list to me of those species he found. Maybe different one?

Moved from Ground Beetles.

Definitely Tachys, not Bembidion.
Off hand this one looks a lot like the Tachys vorax in your BG1912310, a common species in Placer Co., CA. Problem is your posted ABL of "4.9 mm". T vorax averages around 2.6 mm. So if truly that large, then another Tachys, not T. vorax. Update: Glen, I see you corrected to "2.7 mm", thus Tachys vorax.

Thank you.
I'll move it to it's correct position which doesn't have any pictures now. Sorry I made such obvious errors (editing and keying).
