Size: 3 mm
Elevation = 666 m (2,184'), GPS = 39.0651, -120.9440. Top of a ridge in conifer forest with houses widely spaced.
Taken from 20 watt UV light bucket trap.

Adds CA to the range Map.

Perigona nigriceps. One easily seen diagnostic character for this identification.
-- hind trochanter nearly one-half length of hind femur.

Easily keys to genus in Arnett (1) with only one of the two USA introduced species in California.
