If you've had a recent unusual late warm up anything like ours (now past) in MN after a very cool, even snowy October, perhaps it 'thought' it was spring and qualified as a very early record.

Hi Jim, yes the weather the past week has been in the 70s here in Vermont! In fact, just before the warm-up, we had snow on the ground.
