Hodges #6342 - Macaria bisignata - Macaria

Hodges #6342 - Macaria bisignata - Macaria
Tallahassee, Leon County, Florida, USA
November 7, 2020
Size: Forewing ≈14mm
On my black light lamp in the evening, photo taken next day. It is a Macaria, but by my judgment it's pattern of markings does not match any I see on the MPG plates and is not shared by any of the macaria moths in my photo gallery.

Best fit: Macaria bisignata
Taking wear into account, the best fit is 6342 Macaria bisignata; "head reddish brown" (BugGuide info) certainly matches well also. Plenty pines around for its caterpillar.
