Still looking like
Kyle: Still looking like Great Spangled to me. But I do not know the western species. In the east, I would definitely call this a Great Spangled. Help me pull the trigger. What do you think? Regards, Roy

Frit
To be honest, I'm not sure. The combination of the reduced white spots on the underside of the wings and the pattern inside was throwing me off and I was having a little difficulty ruling out several species like Mormon Frit. I did see a Great Spangled (ssp. leto) in the same area on this trip, and that obviously looked quite different.
