ID help? - Holoparamecus
Loomis, Placer County, California, USA
July 5, 2020
Size: 1.1 mm
Taken from Loomis Lindgren Funnel.
Elevation 700’, GPS = 38.8198, -121.1173
Rural residential area with animals & oaks and conifers.

Antennae are 11 segmented.
Antennal insertion seem to be hidden from above.
I couldn't count the tarsi.

After a couple of hours trying to key it out I would appreciate a nudge in the right direction.

Moved, Holoparamecus was my thought too...
I collected it once in AZ

Moved from Beetles.

Thanks Blaine & Gary
This one had me good. Never seen anything like it. That anthicid like (I knew it couldn't be that) sublateral discal carinae from pronotal base laterad of basal pits really had me stumped.

Once keyed to family (hard to do due to almost transparent minute characters) Endomychidae, it keys to genus easily.

Endomychidae - Handsome Fungus Beetle?
Something in the Genus Holoparamecus?
