A big part of the utility of a catalog is being able to search out literature for a taxon of interest.

For the "General Catalogue of Hemiptera, Fascicle VI, Cicadelloidea" cited here, the associated bibliography was published separately (see last sentence on pg. v of the preface) as the:

"Bibliography of the Cicadelloidea (Homoptera: Auchenorhycha)"
