...a revision and classification fo the known Nearctic species of the genus Scaphoideus Uhler. The genus Scaphoideus is widely distributed in the northern hemisphere and in southeast Asia and has a wide range of host and/or food plant(s). Several species in the genus are known to transmit plant pathogens and all are capable of inflicting injury to plants.
