Three-Spotted Skipper - Moved
This could easily be confused with several other skippers whose ranges overlap, and just needed to check those others. This view angle doesn't really show the "very long antennae". Besides the white below the antennae clubs, also note the tawny orange color on the upper edge of the FW costa. The shape and proportion of the wings should rule out the longwing species in the area as well.

Three-spotted
Thanks a lot, Roy. A new one for me.
I had no idea on ID, only sensing that it looked different from other skippers I'd seen previously.

With your background
I was thinking you were just looking for confirmation since this is a bit of a tricky one with several other species within range that are somewhat similar. I am traveling further south from Georgia after the pandemic to look for this one and a few others.
Good hunting.

Going to do a double-check
This one is on my bucket list, but waiting until after the pandemic.
Note white before the antennae clubs.
I am going to check a couple more sources before I move this to species.
