Aeshna tuberculifera
Park Rapids MN, Hubbard County, Minnesota, USA
July 15, 2019
Size: 3.5 cm
I'm guessing this is a type of darner, but I'm not certain of the species. I shot this in a meadow adjacent to Long Lake MN on late afternoon.

. Normally, a better look at the thoracic stripes is needed for Aeshna ID. However, the combination of no blue spots on top of segment 10 and the straight front edge of the front thoracic stripe are enough to id this one.
