Pseudolynchia - Pseudolynchia canariensis

Pseudolynchia - Pseudolynchia canariensis
Austin, Travis County, Texas, USA
November 26, 2020
Size: ~7mm
Found on exterior wall of my house. Urban wooded neighborhood, lots of doves (Columbidae) around here. Total length from wingtip to front of eyes about 7mm. Extremely docile for a fly. Generic ID from iNaturalist.

I've never seen this animal before and BG only has a couple of records for this genus so I figured it was worth posting.
