Xylotrechus - Xylotrechus undulatus

Xylotrechus - Xylotrechus undulatus
Alberni Valley - McLean Mill, Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada

Unsure if this is X. undulatus or longitarsis - or if longitarsis is a subspecies of undulatus.
The New World Cerambycidae Catalogue has longitarsis listed under undulatus, but I don't know if that means it's considered to be a subspecies or a synonym. Bug Guide has them listed as separate species.

Xylotrechus undulatus again...
Your information about the Cerambycidae Catalog made me curious - I hadn't seen that change - so I checked the likely source, and sure enough, X. longitarsis has again been synonymized under X. undulatus. This change was proposed in the recent 'Cerambycidae of Canada and Alaska' by Bousquet, et. al.

I've never been able to separate these two forms other than by locality so this change is certainly welcomed by me!

Thank-you for clarifying it!
