Leaf-footed Bug - Leptoglossus zonatus

Leaf-footed Bug - Leptoglossus zonatus
Gilbert, Maricopa County, Arizona, USA
May 31, 2008
Size: about 20mm long
I think this is a Leptoglossus sp, but which species?

Try L. zonatus
here. The only one with that combination of zigzagging stripe, fancy legs and pale spots on the pronotum, I think. Nice shot, and first AZ image for us, too. Welcome to BugGuide!

Leptoglossus zonatus
Thank you for your help, Hannah. Yes, some of the L. zonatus shots look just right.

Cheers,
Pete
