cricket - Gryllodes sigillatus - female

cricket - Gryllodes sigillatus - Female
La Mesa, San Diego County, California, USA
December 12, 2020
Size: ~13mm body
Found in apartment. It appears to have wing buds. Does that mean it's immature? It has a fully developed ovipositor, which would seem to indicate that it's mature. Are the wings vestigial?

do note...
that occasional individuals of Gryllodes are long-winged. They are usually easy to recognize. I don't think we have any on BG currently but here is an example from iNaturalist https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/55240824

Moved
Moved from ID Request.

In this species, adults are short winged.
