In these photos is does look "dark orange" but it was green when I found it. I found it dead and wet, these pictures were taken 3 days later.

Looks like a ghost spider to me, perhaps something like Hibana velox (which doesn't have a guide page at the moment, just a holding bin under Anyphaenidae for ghost spiders fitting the general mold of H. velox in the southeast US).

Those do look very much like this one. I found it dead in the gutter between my windshield and the hood. At that point the abdomen was distinctly a green color if that helps. Keeping it in a container for 3 days before photographing it seems to have lost that color.
