Pine Borer - Chalcophora angulicollis

I just found out that this is called a Sculptured Pine Borer. Could you tell me which of these scientific names it belongs to Chalcophora angulicollis or Chalcophora virginiensis

C. angulicolis
is your western species. You could type your suggestion into the search field. When the group of thumbnails comes up, double click one. A field above it will then say 'data'. This function gives you the locations where the spec. has been documented in the guide by others - often a rough picture of its actual distribution.
