Is dark alate ant a queen of the same species as the pursuing ant? Or a male?

Dark alate ant is a male
But nonetheless the same species as the worker, I think, i.e. the Attine Trachymyrmex septentrionalis.

The queen would look much like a big worker
Except for the wings (which she looses after mating), the slightly larger eyes, the shape of her thorax, the proportionately larger abdomen and the presence of three ocellae on her head.
