Anyphaena dixiana - Anyphaena dixiana - male

Anyphaena dixiana - Anyphaena dixiana - Male
Mayer, Yavapai County, Arizona, USA
December 19, 2020
Size: 3.5mm
The only species with the characteristic that's extremely prominent. The males have a "claw" on their upper side of their pedi palps. These were identified by Rebecca on inaturalist 2 years ago. There was some speculation as the photos didn't show this claw as well as these pictures do. Just wanted to clarify and back up this species.
