Male
This is actually a very young male, as indicated by the terminal appendages. I'm not sure it can be identified to species with 100% certainty. It kind of looks like an intergrade between Eastern and Western, with pale cerci (like Eastern) but extensive green on the abdomen (like Western). The location is certainly in the zone of overlap between these two taxa, and this bug might be an example of why some people do not consider the two species as separate.

As an editor, you now have the ability
to edit this submission and change the gender if you like. It does look more like a Western than like our local Easterns here. BugGuide currently has them separate, but that could easily change in the future.
