Moved
Moved from Triplax.

Tritoma atriventris LeConte, 1847
Paul E. Skelley det.

Triplax sp.
This is a pleasing fungus beetle in the family Erotylidae, genus Triplax. Perhaps it is T. thoracica. These can be very common in "shelf" and "bracket" fungi all over the eastern U.S.

Pleasing fungus beetle
Thank You Eric.
