Characters important in key "Handbook of the Bruchidae of the US Vol. 1" (1).

-- Metacoxal face broader than metafemur.
-- Metatibial spurs unequal in length and moveable.
-- Pronotum and elytra with scattered, black, setiferous foveae.
-- Integument mostly reddish brown to black.
-- Apex of female pygidium trilobed. This seems trilobed, but don't know if it is a female.
-- 10th stria reaching nearly to apex of elytron.
